Room Attendant Job Description

We are looking for a Room Attendant to join our team and provide excellent customer service to our hotel guests. If you’re interested in kickstarting your career in the hotel industry, we’d like to meet you.

Room Attendant Responsibilities:

• Change towels, make beds, and clean bathrooms.
• Address guests’ queries and ensure rooms are fully stocked, clean, and inviting at all times.
• Support and assist in the smooth running of the housekeeping department, ensuring property and company cleanliness standards are attained and adhered to.
• Take responsibility for duties and tasks assigned, ensuring all work is carried out in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maximize guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and responsive approach to enquiries and problem resolution.
• Support and deliver on the strategies and objectives of the housekeeping department, taking ownership of assigned areas of responsibility.
• Develop and build own skills, knowledge, and experience within the housekeeping department.
• Collaborate with the Head of Department to maintain departmental inventory, achieve productivity targets, and attain performance levels.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships, communicating with key stakeholders while promoting the company culture and values.
• Ensure adherence to all legislation, delivering and documenting due diligence and best practice activities for internal and external audits.
