Monitor Driver Job Responsibilities:

As a Monitor Driver with Alemtiaz Alkuwaiti Logistics Services Co, your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Maintain Situational Awareness: Monitor traffic, weather, and road conditions, reporting hazards and delays while adjusting driving for safety.
  • Ensure Cargo and Passenger Security: Secure cargo to prevent damage and ensure passenger safety by monitoring their behavior and maintaining a safe environment.
  • Monitor Vehicle Performance: Report any warning lights, mechanical issues, or low fuel levels to maintain vehicle health and avoid breakdowns.
  • Verify Delivery Locations: Confirm accurate delivery addresses and report any discrepancies to ensure packages or passengers reach the right destination.
  • Maintain Delivery Schedules: Adhere to time-sensitive deliveries, promptly communicate delays, and prioritize on-time performance.
  • Uphold Safety and Compliance: Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and regulations related to the cargo or passengers (e.g., following hours-of-service limitations).
  • Be Vigilant for Security Threats: Remain aware of suspicious activity and report any security concerns to ensure the safety of cargo, passengers, and yourself.
  • Maintain Clear Communication: Communicate effectively with dispatch or supervisors, reporting issues encountered and responding to inquiries promptly.
  • Optimize Routes (for some roles): Analyze and potentially improve delivery routes for better efficiency and performance.
  • Track Key Performance Indicators: Monitor metrics like delivery times, fuel efficiency, and safety records to maintain high-performance standards.

Monitor Driver Qualifications and Requirements
