Job Description

IIQAF Group currently looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various heavy machinery used in construction and other industries. Your role will involve safely manoeuvring equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and graders to complete various tasks on job sites. This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of skill, precision, and attention to detail.

 Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy machinery, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and graders, to complete various construction tasks.
• Safely and efficiently maneuver equipment on job sites and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
• Excavate and grade land to prepare for construction projects, including digging trenches and leveling surfaces.
• Load and unload materials, such as dirt, rocks, and debris, using machinery attachments.
• Assist in the construction of roads, buildings, and other structures by operating equipment in a precise and controlled manner.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and according to specifications.

Qualifications And Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of equipment maintenance.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
• Physical strength and stamina to perform tasks in a construction environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
• Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends, as needed.
