Drilling Engineer Job Description:
Al Nahiya Group is seeking a Drilling Engineer to join their team in Abu Dhabi, overseeing critical rig operations within a government/military setting. The ideal candidate will manage wellsite activities, ensuring smooth coordination with ADOC office engineers while applying advanced drilling technologies and engineering principles to deliver efficient and safe operations.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise rig operations at wellsite and report to ADOC office engineers.
- Design operation procedures and manage logistics with contractors.
- Support offshore supervisors in planning and preparing work programs.
- Oversee drilling, completion, and workover operations as a supervisor.
- Develop rig operation programs, including diving operations for rig moves.
- Coordinate activities with other units within the department and related sections.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Strong knowledge and experience in the rig operation and the application of new drilling technology
- Excellent understanding of engineering principles and mechanics
