Job Description:
The role of Direct Entry Second Officer is an exciting opportunity for aspiring pilots to join Singapore Airlines and be part of a dynamic team that prioritizes safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This position involves extensive training and offers a clear path for career progression within the airline.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in rigorous training programs to meet the highest flying standards.
- Operate flights on modern and fuel-efficient aircraft within Singapore Airlines’ fleet.
- Progress through the ranks with opportunities to advance to Captain and other specialized roles in Technical, Training, or Management tracks.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and aviation regulations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Valid CPL/MEIR with frozen ATPL (recognized or can be validated by CAAS).
- Minimum of 200 total flying hours as a pilot of aeroplanes, with at least 100 PIC hours for those holding foreign pilot licenses.
- Educational qualifications include a minimum GCE ‘A’ Level, Polytechnic Diploma, or Degree, along with 5 GCE ‘O’ Level credits (or equivalent) including English, Mathematics, and a Science subject.
- Proficiency in English with ICAO English Level 4 for inflight radio-telephony communications.
- Myopia of not more than 800 degrees and astigmatism of not more than 300 degrees per eye.
- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate (recognized or can be validated by CAAS).
Salary & Benefits:
- A monthly allowance during the training phase.

- Successful candidates will be required to serve for the duration of the training, plus a bond of 7 years from the date of appointment as First Officer.
