To transfer an account, including data such as profile photos, individual and group chats, media files, and settings, from Android to iOS, you need a smartphone with Android Lollipop or later, and an iPhone with iOS 15.5 or later installed. On an Android device, you need to install the Move to iOS app from Google Play.  There are also several prerequisites for transferring an account from Android to iOS:

  • WhatsApp on Android must be updated to version 2.22.7.74 or later.
  • The iPhone must be either new or factory reset.
  • Both smartphones must be connected to a power source.
