Sushi Junior Sous Chef Job Description:
As a Sushi Junior Sous Chef, you will take over all duties of the Sous Chef in his or her absence. The planning of menus, managing staff, food preparation, and service will be among your many duties. Your Responsibilities will include:
Sushi Junior Sous Chef Responsibilities:
- Cover for Sous Chef as necessary
- Assist in planning menus and ordering
- Manage kitchen staff
- Supervise food preparation and presentation
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Sushi Junior Sous Chef or higher.
- Experience working with a similar cuisine
- Great English language communication skills with a willingness to learn
- Ability to maintain and follow recipes, processes and standards
- Drive and ambition with a desire to learn and grow within the team
- Flexible availability, working any 5 days a week between Monday – Sunday
- Full ownership in your role
