Job Description
Anantara Hotels & Resorts looking for a Room Attendant to join their team and provide excellent customer service to our hotel guests. If you’re interested in kickstarting your career in the hotel industry, we’d like to meet you.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure health & safety requirements are adhered to, including a personal knowledge of the correct usage of all chemicals used in Housekeeping.
- Maintain records for linen inventory, uniforms, and other items as applicable.
- Properly process lost and found articles and maintain the correct logs.
- Ensure that par levels of linen, towels, and uniforms are current, and in line with inventory.
- Follow and recommend measures to minimize all wastage of materials and amenities used in the department.
- Ensure security awareness throughout the Hotel, reporting incidents to the appropriate Manager when warranted.
- Meet VIP requirements.
- Fulfill all special requests, especially for families visiting with children.
- Carry out and deliver any special guest requests on time, exceeding expectations where possible.
- Clean and take care of all working equipment used by oneself.
- Report any damage or loss in a guest room immediately after being found.
- Remove room service trays from rooms and place them in the service area.
- Make room status reports.
- Report any suspicious person, sleepouts, or ‘Do Not Disturb’ to housekeeping management.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Good interpersonal skills
- Excellent English communication skills
- Eye for detail
- Previous experience in luxury resorts
