Office Waiter Responsibilities:

  • Attend to staff and visitors’ catering requirements and food and beverage requests.
  • Prepare food items such as sandwiches, salads, fruits, soups, and beverages.
  • Inspect balconies and pantries to ensure they contain required items according to the daily setup.
  • Remove used cups, dishes, and glasses from staff desks, meeting rooms, and workstations.
  • Clean and sterilize kitchen utensils and equipment.
  • Load balconies, pantries, and meeting rooms with accessories such as utensils and napkins.
  • Stock service pantries and balconies with items such as ice, napkins, and straws, and ensure inventory is conducted.
  • Follow food preparation and serving techniques to ensure proper procedures are followed.
  • Ensure proper handling of equipment to prevent loss, damage, and breakage.
  • Report missing items and breakage to the assigned Supervisor.
  • Maintain a hygienic and clean work environment.
  • Maintain personal hygiene and assigned uniforms as per Authority standards.
  • Prepare a monthly inventory of kitchen supplies.
  • Liaise with the assigned Supervisor for the procurement of food and beverages.
  • Act friendly, courteous, and efficient.
  • Understand the effective role of teamwork.
  • Be motivated and enthusiastic.
  • Provide cover during periods of sickness and holidays.
  • Understand your behaviour.
  • Be professional and helpful to staff and visitors.
  • Present oneself well-groomed and clean.

Office Waiter Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Experience of at least five years in hotels, VIP companies, or hospitality companies.
  • Excellent supervision skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office knowledge (Excel, PowerPoint).
