Receptionist Job Responsibilities:

As a Receptionist with New Long Life Trading and Services, your responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting visitors: Welcoming guests, clients, or customers as they arrive at the office or establishment.
  • Answering and directing phone calls: Managing incoming calls, transferring calls to appropriate individuals or departments, and taking messages when necessary.
  • Handling correspondence: Sorting and distributing mail, emails, and faxes to the relevant staff members.
  • Scheduling appointments: Coordinating meetings, appointments, and reservations for clients or employees using scheduling software or calendars.
  • Providing information: Assisting visitors with general inquiries about the organization, its services, or products.
  • Maintaining the reception area: Keeping the reception area tidy and organized, including stocking supplies such as brochures, forms, and office materials.
  • Managing office equipment: Operating and troubleshooting office equipment such as photocopiers, printers, and fax machines.
  • Assisting with administrative tasks: Supporting administrative staff with tasks such as data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
  • Handling payments: Processing payments for services or products, accepting cash, checks, or credit card payments, and providing receipts.
  • Ensuring security: Monitoring access to the premises, issuing visitor badges, and following security protocols to maintain a safe environment.
  • Providing customer service: Offering assistance and support to customers or clients, addressing their concerns or directing them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Collaborating with other departments: Communicating effectively with colleagues in different departments to relay messages or coordinate activities.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum Educational Qualification: SLC
  • Working Experience: Skilled in related work
  • Strong observation and communication skills
