Fortnite Creative 2.0: Epic Games’ Game-Changing Update Set for March Release

Fortnite Creative 2.0, a highly anticipated update that has been in the works for some time, is finally on the horizon. Although it had to be delayed a few times, Epic Games has now confirmed that creators from all around the world will soon have access to it, exciting news directly from the game’s developer.

As many players are aware, this update will completely revolutionize Creative mode, allowing creators to develop much larger and better custom maps. The expanded features will undoubtedly make the Creative mode even more popular than it already is.

Despite Fortnite Chapter 4 being launched back in December 2022, the Creative 2.0 update was not released alongside it. Instead, its release was postponed until January 2023, and then to March. Fortunately, it appears that there will be no further delays. Epic has officially stated that the update will be available in March, which is just a few weeks away.

The Fortnite Creative News Twitter account recently tweeted “Happy UEFN release month!” UEFN is the code name for the Fortnite Creative 2.0 mode, where “UE” represents Unreal Engine. Once the new mode is released, players will be able to utilize Unreal Engine integration to create custom models, scripts, and much more, producing even more amazing Creative maps.

Creative mode is already just as popular as Battle Royale, but with the additional tools that creators will have at their disposal, it is anticipated to become even more popular. Although the exact release date of the update has not been disclosed by Epic Games, it is expected to coincide with the release of Chapter 4 Season 2.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 is predicted to debut sometime around Wednesday, March 8, as the current season concludes on that date. Since there will be no live event at the conclusion of the season, the next season will likely begin on the same day that Chapter 4 Season 1 ends. Additionally, Epic Games will introduce several new items and features, including an Attack on Titan collaboration in the upcoming Battle Pass and a first-person mode.
