Job Description:

As a Convenience Store Manager at Greens Retail, you will oversee the day-to-day management of a store, ensuring exceptional customer service, strong community links, and efficient operations. You will lead a team dedicated to delivering top-notch convenience retail experiences while maintaining high standards in every aspect of store performance.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a strong team focused on providing excellent customer experiences
• Manage store operations, ensuring high store standards and compliance with health & safety procedures
• Recruit, mentor, and train staff while planning shifts effectively
• Build strong relationships with the local community by hosting events and fostering local engagement
• Ensure the store meets KPIs and remains competitive for future growth
• Maintain a clean, efficient store environment, adapting to business needs including evenings and weekends

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Essential: Previous management experience
• Preferred: Food retail experience
• A strong passion for retail and attention to detail
• Willingness to deliver exceptional service and a commitment to continuous improvement

Salary & Benefits:

• £27,000 – £29,000 per year
• Up to 15% discretionary management bonus
• 10% staff discount within Greens stores and Subway, 50% discount at Pizza Hut delivery
