Job Description:

As a Content Translator at Odoo, you will play a crucial role in expanding our global reach by translating website content, documentation, and software materials from English to Russian or Turkish. You will ensure that our messaging is accurate, culturally appropriate, and engaging to our target audience.

Responsibilities:

• Translate website content, documentation, and software materials from English to Russian or Turkish, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and cultural appropriateness.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure that translated content aligns with our brand voice and messaging.
• Proofread and edit translated content to maintain high quality standards.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of translation glossaries and style guides.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in translation.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in translation, linguistics, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional translation experience, preferably in the IT or software industry.
• Excellent command of English, Russian, or Turkish, both written and spoken.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in using translation tools and software (e.g., CAT tools, translation management systems).

Nice to Have:

• Experience with technical writing or software localization.
• Knowledge of Odoo or other ERP systems.
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and version control tools (e.g., GitHub).
• Experience working in a fast-paced, international environment.
