Job Description

As a Spa Manager, you’ll be the heartbeat of InterContinental Fujairah Resort’s luxurious spa, making sure every guest leaves feeling rejuvenated and pampered. Your day will be all about ensuring spa services meet top-notch standards while keeping an eye on health and safety regulations. You’ll also play a big role in boosting revenue through creative ideas and excellent service

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the preparation of the annual departmental operating budget and financial plans. Monitor budget and control expenses, with particular focus on activity expenses
• Identify additional revenue opportunities to enhance revenue through chargeable events and activities
• Coordinate with Sales & Marketing to showcase the products and services effectively 
• Effectively monitor and analyse variations from the budget in terms of revenues and cost of sales etc\
• Work within the company’s Human Resource Management System to ensure the departmental performance of staff is productive
• Plan for staffing needs 
• Recruit in line with company guidelines 
• Prepare detailed orientation programmes for new colleagues
• Maintain a comprehensive, current and guest focused set of departmental standards and procedures and oversee their implementation
• Ensure training needs analysis of your departmental staff is carried out and training programmes are designed and implemented to meet needs
• Deliver training
• Actively work at developing your direct reports and identify high potentials 
• Plan bonus, commission and incentive schemes for sales staff in accordance with the marketing budget and hotel standards

Qualifications And Requirements:

• A degree or higher education qualification.
• Spa Management certification from a reputable institute.
• 3 to 5 years of leadership experience in a luxury spa, preferably with pre-opening experience.
• A passion for sales and the ability to promote our spa offerings.
• Fluency in English (extra languages are a bonus).
• Fitness, presentation, and grooming are key.
