Location according to state to get an electronic passport
The Ministry of Home Affairs Department of National Identity Card and Registration has established the locations for getting electronic passports by province. The National Identity Card Information System is used to collect information while issuing an electronic passport.
To deal with this, the department has decided on a new location, which will take effect on Sunday. According to the department, 77 National Administration Offices, 17 Area Administration Offices, and stations at Narayanhiti Durbar can now obtain a National Identification Number by filling out a form online.
In this situation, the individual who requires an electronic passport can obtain the number of his national identity card by entering the information from his district. The Passport Department in Tripureshwor, Kathmandu, and the District Administration Offices of all three districts in the Kathmandu Valley are currently enrolling live electronic passports using the national identity card number.
The live enrollment station will be expanded to other districts as well, according to the Department. The Department has also requested that the national identity card number not be taken because the passport is not needed right away.
The location for the live enrollment required for the electronic passport has been designated according to the province in order to manage the throng. All districts of Bagmati Province, except Lalitpur and Bhaktapur, and all districts of Province No. 2, will now be able to receive services from the District Administration Office in Kathmandu, under the new system.
Similarly, the Lalitpur district administration office can provide it to service recipients in the Lalitpur district, Karnali province, and all of the far western states.
All of Province 1’s remaining districts, including Lumbini and Gandaki, are believed to be able to use the services of the Narayanhiti Durbar Complex (formerly Passport Department).
