Job Description

Ovation Healthcare is currently looking for an Eligibility Specialist to join their team. As an Eligibility Specialist, your primary role will involve verifying eligibility claim reason denials by identifying and correcting patient insurance information across multiple payer types. You will ensure that claims are submitted accurately and work to resolve any issues related to insurance eligibility.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and resolve various eligibility claim reason denials.
• Utilize payer portals and clearinghouses to find accurate patient insurance information.
• Update patient demographics and insurance details.
• Rebill claims with the correct insurance information through the billing system.
• Apply strong problem-solving skills to research and correct insurance details.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Familiarity with insurance eligibility verification processes.
• Experience using payer portals and billing systems.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
