Job Description
ALEC is looking for an experienced Storekeeper to support its Procurement and Construction teams. The ideal candidate will manage warehouse operations, maintain accurate inventory records, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. This role is vital in facilitating timely and precise resource delivery across ongoing data centre projects.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain detailed stock records for materials and equipment
- Coordinate with site teams to ensure timely material delivery
- Inspect incoming items and report non-conformities
- Monitor expiry dates and ensure proper rotation of consumables
- Ensure safe storage for hazardous items (e.g., gas, fuel)
- Support internal audits and maintain HSE compliance
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in storekeeping (preferably in construction or MEP)
- Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols (e.g., IOSH, OSHA)
- Familiarity with ERP or WMS inventory systems
- Strong organisational, documentation, and communication skills
- Understanding of construction workflows and safety standards
