Front Office Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the overall operation of the Front Office department
- Guide the Front Office team to provide prompt and courteous attention to guests, offering personal recognition when possible
- Ensure that repeat guests and other VIPs receive special attention and recognition
- Develop and deliver formal training plans and sessions, in conjunction with the hotel’s training policies
- Monitor and review the performance of employees, scheduling routine inspections of the area under their control
- Compile departmental work schedules
- Assume responsibility for the main cash float, ensuring that Front Office agents maintain it according to established policies
- Maximize room sales and all other hotel revenue
- Attend daily briefings and other meetings as required
- Ensure correct postings of bills and maintain record backups
- Be familiar with all sales promotions and promote in-house activities in all areas, briefing staff on all activities
- Train, support, and assist all Front Office staff with a hands-on approach
- Cooperate with team members/supervisors from all other departments, in particular Housekeeping, Food and Beverage Room Service, Maintenance, and Front Office

Front Office Manager Requirements:
- A good standard of education
- Fluency in English and another European language
- Computer literacy
- Excellent customer care skills
- Experience working on Hotel Systems
- A minimum of 4 years of working experience in Front House operations
- Able to take decisions and lead a team of subordinates
- Motivate the team and get the best out of everyone
