Job Description:

Long-term Teachers Ltd is currently looking for an English Teacher to join their team at a highly regarded secondary school in Melksham. The ideal candidate will lead classes across all key stages, plan and mark lessons, and prepare students for GCSE and A-Level exams. Whether you’re an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to develop your experience or an experienced teacher, this role offers a great opportunity to grow within a supportive and collaborative team.

Responsibilities:

• Teach across all key stages and prepare students for GCSE and A-Level exams.
• Plan, deliver and mark engaging lessons.
• Collaborate with the English department and support staff to ensure curriculum consistency.
• Implement scaffolded and differentiated lesson plans.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with students, staff, and parents.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Relevant teaching qualifications and UK secondary school experience.
• In-depth knowledge of the UK curriculum.
• Strong passion for English and teaching, with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work within a collaborative team and engage students effectively.
