Job Description
Sunset Hospitality Group looking for a dedicated and professional Hostess to join their team. As a Hostess at Goldfish Sushi & Yakitori, you’ll be the first person guests see when they arrive, making sure they feel welcomed and comfortable. Your role is important in creating a great dining experience by providing excellent service and paying attention to the little things that matter.
Responsibilities:
- Warmly welcome guests as they arrive at the establishment.
- Manage the seating chart to ensure efficient table rotation and optimal use of dining space.
- Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists.
- Assist guests with inquiries and provide information about the menu, specials, and promotions.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing concerns and special requests.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure a smooth dining experience.
- Handle reservation inquiries and manage reservations effectively.
- Confirm reservations and communicate any special requests to the appropriate staff.
- Keep the reservation system updated with accurate information.
- Assist with maintaining a visually appealing and welcoming atmosphere.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in similar position in hospitality industry, preferred but not limited to, Previous international experience would be highly preferred.
- Good communications and interpersonal skills in English, and Arabic.
- Knowledge of reservation systems is a plus.
- A professional appearance and demeanor.
