Asus unveils its new flagship devices. These Asus ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro gaming smartphones have debuted in Taiwan. The Asus ROG Phone 6 and 6 Pro are equipped with 6.78-inch AMOLED E4 screens with a resolution of 1080 x 2448 pixels and a frame rate of 165Hz (720Hz touch layer polling rate). Support for HDR10 + technology announced.
The screens are covered with protective goggles Gorilla Glass Victor. The rear camera includes sensors for 50 MP (IMX766), 13, and 5 MP. It has a 12MP front camera for taking selfies and making video calls.
The Pro version got an extra color PMOLED display on the back panel.
The powerful Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processor is responsible for the performance of the smartphone. LPDDR5 RAM amounts to 8, 12, 16 GB, or 18 GB (ROG Phone 6 Pro), and the built-in UFS 3.1 flash drive has a capacity of up to 512 GB. The smartphone has a 6000 mAh battery with support for 65 watts of fast charging. Additionally, there are front stereo speakers, game control triggers, a headphone jack, and a WiFi 6E module.
The devices are running the Android 12 operating system.
As for the cost, the Asus ROG Phone 6 model in 8/128 GB modification is offered at $ 596, the 12/128 GB version is priced at $ 670, and the 12/256 GB memory option is priced at $ 745, 16/512 GB. Edition costs 864.
Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro is a modified 18/512 GB smartphone priced at $1192 dollars.
