Job Description

As a Purchasing Clerk, you will be an integral part of the Resort’s success, responsible for the timely procurement of goods and services for the resort, ensuring cost-effectiveness commensurate with quality. You will develop potential relationships and play a key role in the operational efficiency of procurement processes.

Responsibilities:

• Timely procurement of goods and services for the resort.
• Ensure cost-effectiveness and quality in all procurement activities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Coordinate with various departments to understand and fulfill their purchasing needs.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other relevant data.
• Assist in the preparation of purchase orders and review requisitions for goods and services.
• Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs.
• Work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• At least 1-2 years of experience in an upscale luxury hospitality industry or five-star hotels.
• Highly qualified with excellent spoken and written communication skills in English and/or another language.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Middle East/GCC experience is an advantage.
• Reporting directly to the Cluster Purchasing Manager.
