Job Description

An exciting role has arisen for a Housekeeping Team Leader. The main purpose of this role is to ensure that all public areas and guest rooms are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness through continuous checking and coordination with other departments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all activities adhere to and support the Jumeirah Quality Management System.
• Liaise and cooperate with the Front Office to ensure allocated rooms are ready prior to guest arrival.
• Maintain constant awareness of room status to maximize vacant rooms for sale.
• Collaborate with the Engineering department for room maintenance and faults.
• Ensure the standard of cleanliness is maintained in all assigned guest rooms.
• Ensure pantries are properly stocked with linen, guest supplies, and cleaning supplies according to the established par stock.
• Assist in the training of housekeeping personnel in line with the SOP manual.
• Carry out other duties assigned by the Assistant Housekeeping Manager & Housekeeping Manager.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Preferably 5-star hotel experience.
• Minimum 1 year of Housekeeping Room Attendant job experience.
• High School or Diploma in Hotel Management.
• Fluent in English.
