Light Vehicle Driver Job Description

United Al Saqer Group is seeking a professional Light Vehicle Driver to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving parts/items around in an efficient, safe, and timely manner. This role also includes moving vehicles within the workshop, maintaining regular cleaning services, and ensuring customer satisfaction by keeping cars safe and clean.

Light Vehicle Driver Responsibilities

• Drive parts/items daily to their desired destinations.
• Maintain the vehicle safe and clean.
• Use navigation apps to determine the best route.
• Move new vehicles from location to location without damage and adhere to all company policies.
• Maintain a 100% damage-free record and timely report all accidents or incidents involving company property to Service and Reception Managers.
• Accurately maintain vehicle logbooks in accordance with company requirements.
• Wash/clean/fuel new units and update the fuel date through the Fuel Management System.

Qualifications and Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional experience as a Driver in the UAE.
• A valid driver’s license in the UAE for light vehicles (VAN).
• A clean driving record.
• Familiarity with GPS devices.
• Knowledge of area roads and neighbourhoods within the UAE (Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah).
• Ability to lift heavy items or packages.
• Availability to occasionally take weekend and night shifts.
• A polite and professional disposition.
• Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g., at rush hour).
• A high school diploma.
