Steel Fixer Job Responsibilities:

As a Steel Fixer with Build Earth Technical Services Co LLC, your responsibilities will include:

  • Read and interpret plans to set up the work area and identify required materials.
  • Prepare steel by cutting and bending steel bars and mesh according to specifications.
  • Lay out steel bars, rebar, and mesh to form designated structures.
  • Manoeuvre steel bars, mesh, and reinforcements into place, possibly involving lifting with cranes or hoists.
  • Install spacers and chairs to ensure proper positioning and concrete flow during pouring.
  • Connect the rebar using welding, tying it with wire, or using clips to form cages and frameworks.
  • Fix steel bars and mesh to solid concrete bases, ensuring proper reinforcement.
  • Use rebar to build special structures that hold setting concrete in place.
  • Adhere to safety protocols on the construction site, ensuring awareness and following regulations.
  • Demonstrate physical strength and stamina for lifting, bending, and manoeuvring steel materials.

Qualifications and Requirements
