Front Office Manager Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the overall operation of the Front Office department
• Guide the Front Office team to provide prompt and courteous attention to guests, offering personal recognition when possible
• Ensure that repeat guests and other VIPs receive special attention and recognition
• Develop and deliver formal training plans and sessions, in conjunction with the hotel’s training policies
• Monitor and review the performance of employees, scheduling routine inspections of the area under their control
• Compile departmental work schedules
• Assume responsibility for the main cash float, ensuring that Front Office agents maintain it according to established policies
• Maximize room sales and all other hotel revenue
• Attend daily briefings and other meetings as required
• Ensure correct postings of bills and maintain record backups
• Be familiar with all sales promotions and promote in-house activities in all areas, briefing staff on all activities
• Train, support, and assist all Front Office staff with a hands-on approach
• Cooperate with team members/supervisors from all other departments, in particular Housekeeping, Food and Beverage Room Service, Maintenance, and Front Office

Front Office Manager Requirements:

• A good standard of education
• Fluency in English and another European language
• Computer literacy
• Excellent customer care skills
• Experience working on Hotel Systems
• A minimum of 4 years of working experience in Front House operations
• Able to take decisions and lead a team of subordinates
• Motivate the team and get the best out of everyone
