As eSIM functionality becomes more popular day by day, manufacturers will soon replace physical SIM cards with electronic SIM cards. Although there is still time for this, since most smartphones do not support ESIM, even with a standard SIM card. The Xiaomi smartphone line is no exception to this rule. However, the Chinese company has fixed this with its latest Xiaomi 12T Pro.

It is worth noting that the 12T Pro was released in two SIM card configurations – nano SIM + eSIM and nano SIM + nano SIM. Currently, users residing in countries such as Germany, Italy, France, Japan and Malaysia, among others, can use eSIM. You can see the full list of countries/regions and eSIM-enabled carriers here.

eSIM functionality is also available on Redmi Note 10T, but only in Japan. In addition, the upcoming Xiaomi 12 Lite NE is also reported to support this feature.

Recall that Xiaomi 12T Pro is equipped with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2712 × 1220 pixels and a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, equipped with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of storage.

It features a new 200-megapixel main sensor. The phone also features an 8MP F/2.2 aperture ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, the device is equipped with a 20-megapixel selfie camera. The 12T Pro has a 5000mAh battery and supports 120W fast charging.
