How to create/sign up for a Gmail account?

1. Visit Create/Sing up your Google Account for Gmail.

2. Put your first and last name in the box.
3. Enter your favorite username.
Note: Your username will be followed by “@ gmail.com” in your Gmail email address. Your Gmail address will be “pkpurekanxa@gmail.com” if your Gmail username is “pkpurekanxa”.
4. Enter a password for your email that is hard to guess.
Later, you should enable two-factor authentication for your Gmail account for added security.
5. You have to select Next.
6. For account verification and authorization, you can enter your cell phone number and/or secondary email address. This information is used to help Google recover a forgotten password.
7. Fill in your gender and date of birth (all fields are required).
8. You have to select another.
You will be asked to confirm your phone number or email address. If you have another email ID, please enter or verify the phone number and this will make it easier for you to reset your email password or email ID.
To proceed, read the Privacy & Terms and then select I agree.
Note: You will not be allowed to create a Gmail account if you do not agree to the privacy and terms.
