Job Overview
DHL Global Forwarding is currently looking for a Warehouse Operator in Dubai. This role is essential in keeping the supply chain running smoothly by ensuring goods are received, sorted, stored, and dispatched correctly.
Key Responsibilities
As a Warehouse Operator, you will:
- Receive goods, verify shipments, and check for any damages or defects.
- Sort, label, and store items while ensuring efficient use of warehouse space.
- Pack and prepare shipments according to customer and transport requirements.
- Use scanners, forklifts, or other equipment (with supervision and proper certification) to move and store materials.
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing goods.
- Support daily pick-up and delivery schedules, including basic documentation.
- Assist in resolving shipment issues such as delays or misplaced packages.
- Follow all safety and warehouse procedures to keep operations efficient.
Qualifications
- Education: Vocational/Technical/Certification level
- Experience: Less than 2 years of warehouse or logistics experience (entry-level candidates are welcome)
- Skills: Ability to follow instructions, operate basic warehouse equipment (training provided), and work well within a team.
