Job Description
JRCC is seeking a skilled Kitchen Maintenance Technician to oversee the maintenance, repair, and operation of its commercial kitchen and laundry equipment. This on-site role is crucial in supporting seamless food preparation and event operations by ensuring all systems are functioning safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance checks and troubleshoot equipment
- Repair and replace faulty kitchen or laundry systems
- Install and test new appliances when required
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Liaise with vendors for spare parts and service support
- Keep accurate logs of maintenance tasks and equipment performance
- Respond promptly to urgent repair requests during events
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Trade Certificate in Electrical, A/C, or Plumbing
- Vocational diploma in a technical field preferred
- Minimum 5 years’ maintenance experience (preferably in hospitality or events)
- Strong hands-on technical skills
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and time management
- At least 3 years in kitchen services and maintenance
