Job Description
Adelaide Marriott Hotel is hiring a Receiving Clerk to join their dynamic finance and procurement team. This vital role ensures the smooth flow of goods throughout the property by managing receiving, storage, inventory, and distribution processes while upholding brand standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end process of ordering, receiving, storing, and issuing goods.
- Liaise with department leaders regarding inventory and stock levels.
- Ensure all received goods have proper authorisation and meet local SOPs.
- Maintain organised, clean receiving and storage areas.
- Prepare daily reports for received goods and conduct monthly inventory reconciliations.
- Oversee stock rotation, inventory levels, and issuing based on authorised requisitions.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar procurement or inventory control role.
- Legal working rights in Australia.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and motivated to excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
