The Storekeeper will be responsible for managing inventory, maintaining stock records, and ensuring the efficient distribution of materials. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with experience in construction materials and warehouse operations.
Storekeeper Responsibilities
- Follow safety and storage protocols.
- Receive and inspect incoming materials to ensure quality and compliance.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock levels.
- Issue materials and equipment to teams as per requirements.
- Conduct routine stock audits to identify discrepancies.
- Ensure a well-organized and safe storage environment.
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely deliveries.
- Prepare reports on stock levels and movement.
Storekeeper Qualifications and Requirements
- Attention to detail and adherence to safety regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Storekeeper in a construction company.
- Knowledge of construction materials and inventory management.
- Familiarity with inventory software.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials when required.
