In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth flow of merchandise, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the overall success of our retail stores. Storekeeper Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming merchandise, ensuring quality and accuracy.
- Maintain an organized inventory system and update stock records regularly.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers for replenishments.
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and security of inventory.
- Prepare and process stock requisitions for different departments.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and generate reports on stock movements.
- Work closely with sales and logistics teams to ensure timely stock availability.
- Adhere to company policies and safety regulations in stock handling.
Storekeeper Qualifications and Requirements
- Proven experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar inventory management role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and basic MS Office applications.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in supply chain management are a plus.
