Job Description
Gulf Marketing Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join their vibrant team. As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the care and development of young children within our nurturing environment. You will be responsible for assisting teachers in preparing and delivering engaging activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of children, and maintaining a clean and organized nursery setting. Your role will also involve fostering positive relationships with children, supporting their emotional and educational growth, and contributing to a collaborative and supportive team atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive care and supervision to children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and comfort.
- Support children in adapting to the nursery environment, helping them feel secure and confident.
- Assist teachers in preparing and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities tailored to individual needs.
- Facilitate children’s physical, emotional, and intellectual development through interactive experiences.
- Support children with basic care needs, including meal times, toileting, and personal hygiene.
- Prepare bottles for babies, if required, ensuring care routines are carried out with sensitivity.
- Implement consistent and effective behavior management strategies to foster a positive environment.
- Maintain clean, safe, and well-organized playrooms and equipment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, offering support and guidance to new staff members.
- Build trusting relationships with children, showing empathy and understanding of their needs.
- Maintain open and effective communication with children, staff, and parents.
- Uphold strict confidentiality regarding children, families, and nursery operations.
- Participate in nursery events, such as open weekends, publicity activities, and children’s outings.
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions to contribute to continuous improvement.

Teaching Assistant Salary: 2,000 – 6,000 /mo
