Sandeep Lamichhane, a leg-spinner from Nepal, has set a new world record in one-day international cricket by becoming the fastest player to take 100 wickets. He accomplished this impressive feat by dismissing Adil Shafiq during the ACC Men’s Premier Cup match against Oman on Thursday. Sandeep achieved this milestone in just 42 matches, breaking the previous record of Rashid Khan who achieved the same feat in 44 matches. It is worth noting that Sandeep surpassed Rashid’s record just two games ago.
